Fringe – S02E08 – August

Fringe – S02E08 – August

We finally shed some light on The Observer(s); that’s right there are more than one of them. And they: travel through time, don’t age, have hi-tech weapons, can’t die?, can catch bullets, know the future … et.al. They are nothing short of angels, watching over the human race. According to Massive Dynamics they only appeared 2x over the course of 5000 years, and in the past 3 months appeared over 26x. They alluded to the fact that Olivia is going to be in trouble in the near future. The Observers, are simply there to observe and to make sure the course of history is followed. However they also have the power to change history. Our first Observer allowed Walter to bring Peter from the alternate reality. Peter was supposed to die, and the deal made between the observer and Walter gave Peter protection.

Inglourious Basterds

Inglourious Basterds

Tarantino’s vision of how WWII ended is nothing short of epic. The highlights of the film are when & how the Basterds execute the Nazis. Brad Pitt as Lt. Aldo Raine was the ultimate bad-ass character. He showed no mercy to Nazi prisoners, and only affiliated himself with only a handful of trusted Jewish American men. WWII basically ends with Adolf Hitler and his Third Reich getting blown up in a movie theater. Allot of people died making it happen, so it wasn’t necessarily a “happily ever after”, but it was bad-ass nevertheless.

9

9

It’s an enjoyable film, who’s central story has been done several times. One could argue that Lord of The Rings influenced the script in several ways. Interestingly Elijah Wood does the voice over for 9, which almost solidifies it. It’s a story of life after humans, and their struggle against the machines even after were gone. Intelligence transferred to an inanimate objects through means of dark magic. The fact that they have emotions is unbelievable. It’s a nice story, but a little bit more originality would have helped. The trailer in my opinion was more epic because of Cohen’s track.

House – S06E07 – Teamwork

House – S06E07 – Teamwork

House infamously brings his team together: 13, Taub, Chase & Foreman. What about Cameron? He literally lets her rot, and lets her go; ending the 1 year marriage with Chase. House knew how to cure the porn star, but risked his life to bring his team together. Is it just? I can’t believe they were able to drag Dubala’s death for so long. Cameron will be missed, but she’ll be back before you know it.

V – S01E03 – A Bright New Day

V – S01E03 – A Bright New Day

The Fifth Column “is” the resistance against the visitors including traitors and humans alike. The previous two episodes were somewhat dull because it included a bunch of people who didn’t stand a chance. It’s literally brain candy when they involved the Fifth Column, the very first resistance led by John May could gather an army to fight the Vs. While the Vistors have sleepers with the humans, so does the Fifth Column. There is a Fifth Column member on the mother ship, who kills Erica’s partner after learning she’s part of the resistance.

Dexter – S04E08 – Road Kill

Dexter – S04E08 – Road Kill

Trinity does not shoot Debra and Lundy! Who shot Debra? Trinity’s son? Reporter? Dexter will learn this during his execution of Arthur. Why does LaGuerta decide to let Debra open this case? To get alone time with Batista? I found the ending to this episode to be un-cliffhanger-like. It was like “so what”? Dexter purposely made Arthur avoid the checkpoint, but why? To save his life? To take it away? If he’s so confused, why doesn’t he let the authorities take care of Arthur Mitchell? He can’t evade the justice system, where there is so much evidence against him. Interestingly Trinity chooses death to remorse against the deer. He values an animals life over a human?

V – S01E02 – There Is No Normal Anymo...

V – S01E02 – There Is No Normal Anymore

Dale Maddox, Erica’s partner is brought back to life after his heart was plunged with an iron rod. These aliens have technology to regrow skin tissue; i guess they can help burn victims. Or even in the field of cosmetology, their skin is rather perfect. Not much happens in this episode, except for Tyler getting kicked out of the ambassador program. AT&T and Apple must have a deal, because all the phones in the show are iPhones.
