Dexter – S04E06 – If I Had a Hammer

Dexter meticulously Up-close and personal with (Trinity) Arthur Mitchell and lands himself in a choke-hold. The trinity character is just so good. It’s like biting into a deliciously seasoned steak, good to the bone. The love story between Laguerta & Batista finally ends with them getting back to work. We learn why Trinity kills in threes, reliving how his sister, mother & father died. The hammer being the murder weapon was given to Dexter. I wonder what he’s going to use to kill Arthur?

Dexter finally resolves his issues with Rita, by actually being honest. The reason he needed the apartment was for his tools & blood slides. Now that he has a private shed with a padlock courtesy of Rita, it couldn’t get any better. The kids are really getting more and more attached to Dexter. I felt so sorry for Dexter when Rita said, “lets talk”. And I can only imagine how much he wants to say and he remains silent. He somewhat reveals that he has a monster inside him as a result of seeing his mother sawed to death & being a cargo-trailer filled with blood for days on end. His brother turned out to be a ruthless serial killer.
