I just saw the video recently, although i’ve heard the single many months ago. When comparing this video to Amazing by Kanye West, it’s miles better. It starts off a bit shaky, because we don’t really know what’s happening. I’m not sure if it’s the TV capture, but video tones are dark and somewhat warm. It’s a thoughtful video, that is actually related to the lyrics quite literally. In the video the lyrics are thrown out like confetti, and they tape the people reading it or holding it out. Nickelback is arguably one of the best Canadian rock bands. They represent Canada in a positive way around the globe and their music just simply connects.

Kanye West Ft. Young Jeezy – Amazing (Music ...
The 808s & Heartbreak soundtrack was on repeat on my iPhone for a good part of the winter season, but now it’s getting a bit stale. I’m more interested in the covers that other artists have to offer for Kanye.
I was very disappointed with this music video. He used a technique where the aspect ratio would go from 2.35:1 to 16:9. This technique was integrated really well in his ‘Welcome To Heartbreak’ video, but in the ‘Amazing’ video it’s pure garbage.
