Carrie Underwood – Cowboy Casanova

Carrie Underwood – Cowboy Casanova

‘Cowboy Casanova’ is a sequel to ‘Before He Cheats’. This uptempo rock-country track will sweep your feet. Underwood dominates this track with lightning lyrics and a belting vocal range. Coupled with Irish esque strings, and a rock edge that will appease all demographics; Underwood has outdone her self again. You can’t help but sing along and bob your head in euphoria.

He’s the devil in disguise, a snake with blue eyes … And he only comes out at night … Gives you feelings that you don’t wanna fight … You better run for your life

Adam Lambert – Time for Miracles

Adam Lambert – Time for Miracles

.
.

Get ready to hear something bloody brilliant; a power-ballad that will make every hair follicle separate from your body. The orchestra and strings take this track to epic proportions. This will be the first time Adam Lambert will hit the airwaves, and he will take the charts by storm.

“truly sensational” … “Adam’s voice reaches out with sensitivity, depth, maturity, and awesome range and power that will make jaws drop all around the world. – Brian May (Queen)

Natasha Shneider co-wrote the song shortly before her death; she fought cancer alongside long-time partner Alain Johannes. It gives the song so much more importance and meaning. Natasha died writing this track, her legacy lives on through Lambert’s vocals.

Ben Deignan – Ben Deignan

Ben Deignan – Ben Deignan

.
.

An no-name soulful metrotown boy churns out soothing and oozing tunes. I’ve been following Ben Deignan on YouTube ever since i heard his cover of Stronger. I’ve subscribed to his channel ever since. He puts Kanye’s electro-rap version to shame. His original music is also really good to listen to. “Oh my goodness … please tell me i’m dead wrong … what drives me crazy baby … Is that sexy black dress …”

“His music is addictive.” – Jeff Dauler (All the hits Q100 Atlanta)

“Ben is mother truckin’ awesome!” – John Popper

Jay-Z – The Blueprint 3

Jay-Z – The Blueprint 3

.
.

I decided to write about the songs that i actually like. I’ve already written about Death Of Autotune which kanYe released a few months bank. Run this Town has been flooding the airwaves on Rap/Pop stations. I’m not a big fan of the track there’s not enough Rihanna & kanYe in that track. There isn’t much new on this track in terms revolutionary music. But i really like some of the Jazz interleaves. Kanye West & Timbaland have produced this album. Mr. Hudson’s Forever Young is my favourite track. I’ve been a big fan of Hudson’s track ever since Supernova. And he’s done a number with Forever Young, it’s the last track in the album. Honestly just skip that song, or only buy that song in the album if your @ iTunes.

David Guetta – One Love

David Guetta – One Love

.
.

Consensus: Overall an awesome soundtrack with allot of good vocals. It’s the little things that ruined the soundtrack as a whole. Almost all the songs if they were edited slightly would have been masterclass. But unfortunately a select few are being added to my iPhone which i’ve indicated with checkmark. David Guetta is one gifted Dance/House artist who knows how to cater to his audience. There are allot of artists in this album including: Akon, Ne-Yo, Kid Cudi, Estelle & Kelly Rowland. Estelle’s, ‘One Love’ track is the best track on this album. I guess that’s why the album is named after this awesome song. Most of the songs that i disliked have this ‘Love is Gone‘ sample. The song itself is good, but gets ruined by over-the-top techno interleaves.
